Gary Tovar and Bad Otis Link are at it again! Gary is of course is the original founder of Goldenvoice concerts and Otis has been creating concert art and merchandise with Gary and Goldenvoice for over 30 years now. They will be setting up a vintage style print shop with the original 1980s hand printing equipment that was used to produce all of those rare and collectable early Goldenvoice t-shirts. Otis has designed a special limited edition Coachella t-shirt and poster for the event this year and is very excited to be here celebrating with the Coachella crew. The shirts are all hand printed, come see them being printed, they also will be hand colored, please come by and see it all in action! Gary and Otis would like to invite you to stop by for a meet and greet saturday morning between 11: 00 am and noon. They will be signing posters, making custom shirts and would love to visit with you!

Otis & Tovar - Pre Show Coachella Chaos... The Fun Kind!

We are working on a killer Special Edition Coachella Shirt that will be hand printed in our booth at the festival, yes I am making, I mean decorating... ( i won't be sitting there sewing ) each shirt by hand. Sorry, no showing till show time! Yes, these are going to be a pretty limited item. Like most of my old t-shirts, I like it like that! Considering that we will have 85000 folks X 2 so i'm gonna be a busy mofo but I am only physically able to make so many. So if you were fortunate enough to get a ticket come grab one before they vanish forever into collector oblivion! Each shirt will be an original... No machine printers in this camp! I have a great crew of talented artists on site to help me with the onsite printing and hand coloring of these one of a kind shirts. I have also designed a cool limited edition poster for the event that we will be printing during the week. All looking pretty nice.
We have all of our details for the festival ironed out, we're gonna be burning the candle at both ends until show time, nothing unusual really. We have our location set at the festival. Come visit me and Gary along with our awesome crew in the main Coachella lobby area near the general store, by the entrance. Coachella Music Festival 2012 Art and News

Bad Otis Link and Goldenvoice founder Gary Tovar are teaming up again and will be Invading the 2012 Coachella Music Festival with original hand made shirts and posters. Gary started Goldenvoice Concerts in Santa Barbara in 1981 and Otis was the original designer for all of the early 80s - 90s concert art and merchandise. Otis will is designing and hand printing special limited edition t-shirts. "We will be setting up an old school hand print shop on site, making special One of a kind Coachella shirts, posters and clothing. "I can't stand commercial mass produced machine printed clothing, i like to treat my shirts as original art that you can wear." Otis' vintage Goldenvoice T-shirts and designs attract big bucks in the collector world. Below you will probably recognize some of Otis and Tovars early Merch.

Otis also designed and printed for hundreds of bands over the past few decades.
